DisCONNections #1 is our own midweek evening, a mix between smart theater and selected music for a chill night out in town.
Our first representation hosts The cat’s ladder, the adaptation of a recently famous text by hungarian author Katalin Thuroczy. Elegantly skirting feminism, this text brings forth women’s troubles and dramas inside a story where many women will find themselves, while many men will refuse to admit any resemblance to the unseen character both heroes are fighting for. Bitter in its humor „The cats ladder” will leave you pondering about your life and your own relationships, but will also leave you with a smile on your face.
Following the play our own resident DJ will turn up the volume with some vintage disco vibes. No, we won’t be playing any damn ABBA, but you’ll definitely hear some smooth italo vibes and some old-school disco-house, sprinkled with many early electronic music history hits.
Artists donations: 20 Lei (if you reserve your seats commenting below or sending us a private message) or 30 Lei at the entrance.
Entrance is free after the show, for the rest of the night.
