The Red Carpet represents an aesthetic social-contemporary manifestation that proposes a reconstruction of the anthropological mechanisms of adulation.
The Red Carpet marks a border between two worlds – one of those who „walk” and the other one of those „who look”.
The Red Carpet refers to an archeology of time, a time of festivity.
The artist reconsiders the fundamental principles of freedom. At the conceptual level, he proposes a transfiguration of the textile structure of the carpet in an installation made up of a crowd of people on a miniature scale.
The artist demolishes the borders, proposing a reflection of social reversal. The Red Carpet is actually an invitation to those who „look” to „make the step”.
Thus, the Red Carpet becomes a place of metamorphosis.
RO
